Could this trojan affect Internet Explorer access/speed? I just came from
working on my daughter's computer (i.e., downloaded free AVG, enabled her XP
firewall). After doing the above, I ran AVG and it found this Trojan
PSW.Agent.G with a filename of _update.DAT, it would not let me vault it or
anything. I went out in safe mode and deleted the file _update and ran AVG
scan again and it found it again in the same location (owner/local
settings/temp.

Also, the internet explorer is locked up at a page that starts with
www.perfectnav and a big long string of letters and numbers, it won 't let
you navigate anywhere else at all. As I said before she has Windows XP and
is connected by cable modem. What can I do now to get her Internet
navigation back? I would have downloaded one of the spyware programs but
could not access the internet. Thanks in advance for any help on this, I am
stumped and seems I made a bigger mess of my daughter's computer than it
was.
