You are probably legit and trying to be helpful.
First, by publishing your website and email address here you will start
receiving virus attacks and tons of spam - not from anyone here, but from
bots that harvest such data from the newsgroups - SWEN (news spelled
backwards) is one of them.
Secondly, if someone's computer is broken, or their email doesn't work,
you run into a "Catch-22" problem.
