AVAST is free.
Stinger is NOT an investigative tool. Since it only targets some 40 or so infectors, it is
indicated to be used when one of the targeted infectors has been found.
It is far better to use a free scanner or online scanner that will look for the greater than
85,000 known infectors.

| Maybe you didn't download any music??
|
| Stinger can scan and remove about 40 different viruses and
| Trojans, and you can try on-line scans at many sites, from
| McAfee to Norton and at PC Pitstop.
|
| BTW, is avast a "pirate a/v program" Matey?

| | I went to that web site and came away unscathed.
| |
| | Try using http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ and see what
| *they* come up with.
