What software ?
For example, I am using McAfee VirusScan v4.5.1 corp., VirusScan v8.0 Home Edition and
VirusScan v7.1 Enterprise Edition on three different platforms.
If your AV scanner STOPS then you may have a hard disk problem with FAT/NTFS data
corruption.
Follow my emailed and posted suggestions and if warranted, we can tackle your any data
corruption.
What OS are you using ?
