Each track is a file that IS copy protected WMA format. I can use their
player or WMP. Their program update did modify WMP during install as I
watched the install feedback closely. I tried converting a track from wma
to all different kinds of formats with many different audio converters. All
say copyprotected. Audio is flatline visual on such converters. When
played, volume is rather high compared to other audio files and audio CDs
that I have.
I can burn a standard .cda file oriented audio CD with their program. And
that has no such protection. Plays on my home stereo DVD player. Nero and
other such burning programs can easily copy or convert such a cda file
format if I wanted to.
BTW When I play these track files from the HD with WMP, no such temp file is
created. No where on the PC.
Went back and checked the tech support reply. I botched the tech support.
Told them "NF" not "NC". See how my corrected response pans out.
I did find something really interesting when hunting down .tmp files. NAV
keeps a running log of netdetect and when and how it attempts access to the
internet. Current file is 2734 KB. It has both the IP of the home PC and
the internet server PC, UDP port number, and the software port I use for
accessing the internet (not default). Located under Windows internet logs
subdirectory. There is more than one such file. Guess I'll have to add
this to CleanSweep when I run it. "tvdebug.log" 4111 KB?
