There are some ways to do this safely, but I would need
to know what
software, and version, you use for email.

Hi- thanks for taking the time to help. I use yahoo free
based email-I use AVG free version. Although, I have
outlook express through my ISP, I really do not use it
alot. MY main mail to fam and friends is through Yahoo!
Apparently, yahoo scans with NOrton incoming and
outgoing. But I just installed AVG and would like to
reassure that I can get a 2nd scan for virusses just in
case. I may want to add that I sent my concern to
yahoo.com; but they want me to send the entire message
body to them. I guess for that to happen, I would need
to 'open' it ,right??? so, is that not a bad idea ???
unless I could scan it first??And if it does have a virus
and do you think that they would want me to STILL send it
to them anyways???????Gee, Norman, any help would be
appreciated. I dont know if you use yahoo. I tried to
read all there help files but it doesnt seem to clarify
stuff. thanks if you can help
