No you are wrong, see my post dated 09 February 2004 20:07
"Its OK now, I know why it didn't scan my whole disk,
I didn't have the control centre activated.
Without it activated you cannot access the options for the 'complete test'.
With the control centre activated I could see the 'complete test'
was set to scan just \windows.
I don't have the control centre activated normally because I don't
want the thing active.
I suppose AVG would call this design flaw a 'feature'."
and compare it to taffs 09 February 2004 20:18, my post was posted
*before* his. I had solved the problem before he made his post.

However *nobody* was abble to post the "advanced" option before I
solved the probelm.

I posted to several groups, I posted here because other people with
a similar problem may have been unaware their AV software was
misleading them into thinking they had scanned the whole of their
system.

I admit I have a short temper with people who disregard security
issues, and I am *proud* of that fact. Especially when they claim
to know a bit about security.
I think you will find my mind is considerable sharper than my tougue
although they are closely connected.
