You said, "AGV's anti virus appears to have a *serious* flaw in it."

Appearances can be deceiving. I have seen AVG scan not only all physical
drives in the computer on which it was installed, but all physical drives on
a network connection, when those drives were mapped locally to the AVG
computer. It alerts on EICAR.

I do know that it hasn't alerted on Klez or Swen in a long time; mostly
because all email now is routed through a mail server on the other computer
in the LAN, and F-Prot for DOS is nailing the email viruses on that
computer.
