Okay, did that with the setup.exe file (it's currently in recycle bin) and everything seemed to work fine. I have to go out right now but will reboot again when I return and run a few things and see how things are going before I definitively empty the recycle bin.

This is ridiculous how much garbage tries to get on your computer. Looked at the faq section to this community and am adding a firewall from zone alarm and will keep up with the two links that you sent me (on top, of course, of my regular virus updates and scans).

Is there any other advice that you can give me re protecting my system? Things that I should be doing?
