Sarah, thank you for the your instruction. Those were my
typo mistakes. I deleted most of the internet explorer
files. The Internet Explorer directory under the
c:\program files can not be deleted. Any time I tried to
delete it, it came up with a message saying, "Can not
delete Internet Explorer: It is being used by another
person or program. Close any program that might be using
the file and try again." I closed all the programs and
even tried to delete it in DOS, but couldn't. the files in
the folder aren't read or write protected.
I tried to run ie6setup, again came up with the same
message saying "set up has dtected a newer version of
the IE on your system. Setup can not continue. Any other
suggestions? Thank you, Nasser.
