Internet Explorer does not launch

As soon as I try to run Internet explorer, it comes up with
a message box indicating "Intenet explorer has encountered
a problem and needs to close... To see what data this
error report contains, cloick here." I click on the "click
here" link and see the following'

I tried to remove the IE from control pannel but there is
no IE at all. I downloaded IE from Microsoft website but
as sson as I try to re-instal it, it comes up with a
message saying a "set up has dtected a newer version of the
IE on your system. Setup can not continue." Please let me
know how can I run IE again. Thanks, Nasser.
