Need help removing 8ad

I am having a very hard time removing 8ad. It's some
type of program that recognizes certain words on a web
page triggering a pop up. This results in a significant
(very for me at least) slowing of IE. Please help.
Browsing anymore is horribly slow, and I am very confused
in how to remove it. If someone can give me a
walkthrough on how to remove it, I would be so very
apprciative.
