Re: Virus software found a virus, but doesn't fix it

My computer is an IBM, but I don't know how to get ahold
of the diagnostic software. I am off warranty, and could
get little help from them when I tried to call. Will
disabling system restore delete the virus? Also, the
computer associates virus scanner has a detailed virus
scan function, but they strongly recommend that I NOT use
this. Should I?

Thanks for your response.
