Amanda,
What problems going online?

Try renaming your HOSTS file ......
It may be hidden so make sure you can view hidden files

To allow yourself to view all file types:
Open Windows Explorer Folder Options - View [tab]:

Scroll down to the Hidden Files and Folders section
Select: "Show hidden files and folders"
Uncheck: "Hide file extensions for known file types"
Uncheck: " Hide protected operating system files"
Ok the Prompt, click Apply, Ok

--
With IE closed .....
Start | Search (type) HOSTS
Once located (if exists) rename to NOHOSTS
Internet Options | Programs | Reset web settings
See if you can get online ...
[or]
Find someone to print out those pages for you
