Unable to access Network Drive on Windows 2000 Server, which were previously accessible till 2nd December 2003.
Basicallly three machines containing Windows XP Professional, they use to have one shared drive on the Server, and now no more accessibility to the drives are available.
Though the systems are updated with latest antivirus patch and along with the Windows update available, till this time, still users are unable to access the drive.
Now what had happened I have tried and administrative level Id equalent to administrator, and manually shared the drive to the user after they had login. This sharing was also not possible from administrator Id even, which has ammazed me.
Can anybody knows that, its seems to me a new form of virus have appeared or some trojan is still inside or the network is effected with some DoS (Denial Of Service).
Would require a guidance ?
