Dave:
First go to the AV packages web site and read about the virus and what it does to the
system.
You would have to do one of the following....
Stop the program from loading at startup from; Registry, WIN.INI, etc. Then reboot the PC
and then scan & clean
Scan & clean the PC in Safe Mode
Force the program to shutdown then scan & clean the PC

| Thanks, Dave;
|
| I went to housecall, and performed a scan. I need to use
| a new antiviral program! I had ten viruses!-
|
| BKDR DAEMONIZ.A
| JAVA BYTVERIFY.A
| (TIMES 3)
| YATA (TIMES 3)
| BKDR ITERATOR.A (TIMES 2)
|
| I was able to delete all of them except BKDR ITERATOR.A.
| It won't let me delete it because it says that "windows is
| using this program". Do I have to run DOS by itself to
| get rid of it, or do I need to(yikes!) re-install my
| windows? Any suggestions?
|
| Thanx,
|
