Although your specific questions are off topic for this group, and, in fact,
I don't think I know the answers to any of them off the top of my head, I
can help with one issue you have.
That pirate version of XP will bite you eventually. Microsoft's current
stance is that they will not provide support--and this includes patching via
WindowsUpdate--to stolen software--i.e. yours.
Many of the patches available via WindowsUpdate may also be downloaded--so
you can and should install those. You won't be able to install SP1,
however.
Now that you know that you have stolen software, have you considered what
you are going to do about it? XP home is not a terribly expensive product.
You can exchange your current stolen product key for a proper purchased one
without reinstalling.
You came here looking for help with some fairly trivial issues, but you've
got a more serious one you should think about too.
