It sounds like the Nachi/Welchia worm.

Go to McAfee and download the McAfee worm removal tool, Stinger;

You also should have a firwall and you need to install the RPC/RPCSS Buffer Overflow
vulnerability patch addressed by Microsoft Security Bulletin MS03-39

| My virus scan has detected a virus, and told me to delete
| it manually. I have located the file, but am unable to
| delete it, -- being told that I am denied access to the
| file. I have tried renaming the file and then deleting,
| but again told -- denied access. Is there some other way
| to delete the file:
|
| c:\windows\system32\wins\DLLHOST.EXE
|
| Any help is greatly appreciated.

| Thanks
