any particular reason my posts get deleted?

My post to the MS viruses thread that included information on how to
filter out the swen-virus-spam obviously contained something not allowed
in this newsgroup? I do not try to post disallowed material here so I
would appreciate a note on exactly what it was that was not allowed?, or
are my posts just being deleted a little here and a little there with no
specific reason? Maybe its the proposing that people use open source
software that is the problem?
