Seems to me that if all attempts to access private
computers that are stopped by firewalls were reported to
a central facility or at least logged by the individual
software providers, it would be possible to zero in on
the source of a virus just as it was possible to identify
the source of the problems precipitating the recent east
coast power shut down. Is the privacy of these clowns
more important than mine?
