Don't panic yet.
Are you sure you don't mean SVCHOST?
There are situations in which symptoms related to this filename can be
indicative of a virus infection, but it is also perfectly normal to have at
least as many as 6 instances of this running at once on any XP machine.
You've invested in good antivirus tools and firewall, and are keeping them
up to date--I'd trust those tools.
If you want some reassurance, pick a competing company--say Trend Micro or
Panda, and run their online scan--just to see if they spot something your
Norton tools haven't:
