Your NAV shall be removed easily unless you did not install it
correctly. I have used that bug too and, to be honest, I had the same
slowdowns in internet connections and those stuffs you mentioned.I
easily removed it using "Add or Remove" in "Control Panel". But in
your case Norton is totally responsible because of a corrupted file
and any harm to your computer shall be answered by them.
Also , I think Zonealarm pro has got all you want for system security,
so I suggest you to try it for a short time and see what it does.
