Downlaod Trojan Horse

I am using AVG virus software, which detected the trojan
virus on several files. I was able to repair one file but
not the others. They were in _Restore\temp with the file
extention .cpy. I tried to remove them manually but I was
denied access. Is it safe to leave these files infected?
How do I remove them safely?
