Blaster worm infecting RPC

Blaster worm infected my RPC. I have shut off the System restore and installed the patch from Microsoft. However when I click on Norton it comes up for 2 seconds and goes back off. I have uninstalled Norton, delete registry keys, rebooted, and reinstalled Norton to no avail.It ran the pre-scan and did not find a virus. I have download AVG and ran the virus scan and it did not find any viruses. I have added the WIndows Xp Firewall to run and have updated all my critical updates in WIndows Update. Norton is running in the task bar but just when I click on the icon, it closes in 2 seconds. Its as if the worm disabled Norton and wont let it run. the Live update ran but I can't do a manual scan. I have tried running Symantec and Mcafee online scans but can't get them to run. On another pc the AVG program detected more viruses than Norton did.
