Since your first posting a couple of days ago. I see you still have
this issue. Of course since you have been posting to an AV group that
would be the focus of my original answers.

I had a DC do this once. Before the Blaster days.
The only solution I could find was to repair/reinstall the windows
installation. I can't recall exactly what it was but something to do
with too many patches all at once causing conflicts? I'd have to check
my notes at the office.
