Virus?

Today I opened Windows & Messenger 6.0 and got a few popups saying MSNVC run
time error - file not found. I also had a few strange files running in task
manager - MSDWFX.exe was one. In the registry the run key showed MS.exe,
MSDWFX.exe, MSKFLP.exe and MSNNHCN.exe.
A google search on MSNVC brought me to the Trend Micro site that talked
about the worm-SMIBAG.A
Apparently it is spread thru MSN messenger from a file called SMB.exe (which
I searched for and don't have). I have scanned my computer and no viruses
appear, but I can't explain the new files and the new processes running. I
also never accept files thru messenger and haven't been given any URL's that
I can remember. I have a firewall that has stealthed all my ports, have an
up to date virus scanner in place and am extremely careful of everything I
do. All security patches from Microsoft are totally up to date.
Does it appear I *am* infected with something? Trend say there are supposed
to be a number of files placed in the computer by this worm but a search
reveals I have none of those. Apart from the registry references and the
file not found error I can't see anything else to indicate I have, but...
