Do you happen to remember the name of the virus, or
the file(s) which it had effected? Your antivirus
software may have a log of these facts.

You can try viewing a list of programs that attempt
to open when you start your computer:

Click the Start button, choose Run, type:

MSCONFIG

Press OK.

>From there, look at the Startup tab. You should compare
each item on the list to the following list, and take
action as is recommended:
