My mom has an IBM PC; its a few years old. She seemed to
have a virus, so last week I went to the Microsoft
website to download a fix for her. The website said I
had to first download service pack 1 separately, which I
did. Now when we turn on the computer, she can't boot
up. She can only reach a diagnostics program or her BIOS
system setup. How can I correct this problem without re-
formatting her hard drive?
any addistance would be VERY MUCH APPRECIATED. Thanks
