Your friend knows she should not have opened the
attachment. She has found a computer shop which
is willing to repair the damage. She could repair it
herself, but that would take time and patience. If she
doesn't want to spend time and be patient, her best
bet is to spend a bit of money at the shop. She could
look at it as a cyber fine for her carelessness.
