fake mircosoft alert????

I got 2 identical emails one yesterday, one today with an
attachment that i have not opened at my YAHOO mail
adrress not my hotmail box with the return
address "Microsoft" uubject header... "Use this Patch
Immediately!".

I was immediately suspicious.... why to a yahoo box not
MS Hotmail box. Nothing new showed up in my XP Pro auto
update.
