Hi Jason,
Sorry for the late response. After some further research and consulting
some windows Vista engineers, there seems hasn't any opened interface for
us to change the warning icon(display in UAC prompt) in our application's
program code or resource. This icon is used by the system and separated
from Application's Icon.
Sincerely,

Hi Jason,
Regarding on your description, you've digitally signed an setup program
found that when running it on Vista, the security warning dialog willget
display its certificate via a general Icon. You wonder whether this Icon
can be customized, correct?
Based on my experience, this Icon should be different from the
application's Icon and might be associated with the certificate's
properties. I'll do some further research on this and let you know if I
any further information.f
Sincerely,
Steven Cheng

that
I'm using signcode.exe to apply a code signing certificate to sign my
installation program. When the user is launching the installer, they're
(expectedly) seeing the "Open File - Security Warning" dialog to confirm
they want to execute, and the proper code signing certificate is beingrather
referenced. However, the dialog is using the generic application icon
than the embedded icon that's otherwise being used by Windows. Is thereany
way to change the icon that's being used in this dialog to reference the
supplied application icon, or will it only display the generic icon.
Thanks,
Jason
