Hi Soren,
It seems that this is an Application Integration Framework question, so I
do not think you will get much useful responses in
microsoft.public.platformsdk.security newsgroup. As you may have noticed,
microsoft.public.axapta is more suitable for it. Note:
microsoft.public.axapta is not a MSDN managed newsgroup, so you will not
get official MSDN newsgroup support in it.
Anyway, I would like to share some of my security experience with you. From
platformsdk security perspective, I recommend you to use Process Monitor to
monitor the file system access of your application process. If it is
permission related, you may take care of records with "Access is denied"
result. Also, you may filter the log records with your folder path. You may
download Process Monitor from the link below:
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sysinternals/utilities/processmonitor.mspx
If you are not familiar with Process Monitor, Mark Russinovich has provided
an online video regarding it:
"Advanced Windows Troubleshooting with Sysinternals Process Monitor"
http://www.microsoft.com/emea/itsshowtime/sessionh.aspx?videoid=346
Hope it helps.
Best regards,
Jeffrey Tan

Note: The MSDN Managed Newsgroup support offering is for non-urgent issues
where an initial response from the community or a Microsoft Support
Engineer within 1 business day is acceptable. Please note that each follow
up response may take approximately 2 business days as the support
professional working with you may need further investigation to reach the
most efficient resolution. The offering is not appropriate for situations
that require urgent, real-time or phone-based interactions or complex
project analysis and dump analysis issues. Issues of this nature are best
handled working with a dedicated Microsoft Support Engineer by contacting
Microsoft Customer Support Services (CSS) at
http://msdn.microsoft.com/subscriptions/support/default.aspx.
