verifying cmd.exe
I can use WinVerifyTrust to verify the signature of a signed executable
before executing it. However cmd.exe is not signed on any version of
Windows that I have tested. What function do I use to verify a Windows
executable such as cmd.exe? Presumably there is a catalog somewhere with
the correct hash. But how do I invoke it?
Regards,
George.
