Thanks for your feedback!
I have followed your descriptions to run 5 instances of the applications at
the same time on my Win2003 SP1 3G CPU 2G RAM machine. Although the speed
is somewhat slower than running one instance, I still did not get the 2
erros you encountered.
0x8007203A maps to ERROR_DS_SERVER_DOWN constant. Normally this error
generated with ADsOpenObject can be caused by several reasons:
1. LDAP server that is down.
2. It is possible that the DC server is too busy to respond to the call and
causing a timeout which the client may interpret as the server not being
available.
3. Another scenario may be because there are DNS name resolution errors,
that is a name that is not resolvable via DNS.
Because I can not reproduce out this specific problem, I can not say for
sure of the exact cause. Have you tried to run this application on a better
performance machine? Also, I recommended you try it on Win2003 system.
