Windows logon from external program/service

Is it possible to create a Windows (2000/XP) service (or simillar thing)
that could make logon to console (instead of manual user logon-entering
username and password)?
I don't want to autologon when starting Windows, but to logon from that
specific service (it will control when to logon and to logoff).

It would be great if I could get machine to automatically make a log on if
someone on the console makes logoff (after the logoff process is completed,
some predefined user is logged on again). Or another example: to log on some
user to console by sending some command to the computer over the network.

In the meantime, I found something about changing GINA for this purpose, but
there is no enough documentation about this on the Net.

The security risk envolved with this modification is not important to me.
So, if someone has some experience about this...thanks in advance!
