Hi Mike,
Thanks for your post!
It seems you are in a somewhat complex situation. However, the information
you listed in the post is not enough for us to understand your overall
project archtecture. I hope you can provide more detailed context
information regarding your project for better understanding.
Can you provide more information regarding "stop the remoting application"?
The "remoting application" means server-side app or client-side app? In
your post, as you said that the CComPtr<IAzAuthorizationStore> type static
member variable points to a class instance that is never initialized, yes?
I suspect this may be problem, normally, we can not release a pointer which
points to an uninitialized class instance. You may give it a check.
Per your issue's complexity, it would require intensive troubleshooting
which would be done quickly and effectively with direct assistance from a
Microsoft Support Professional through Microsoft Product Support Services.
I recommended this way for your issue troubleshooting.
You can contact Microsoft Product Support directly to discuss additional
support options you may have available, by contacting us at 1-(800)936-5800
or by choosing one of the options listed at
http://www.microsoft.com/services/microsoftservices/srv_support.mspx.
Thanks
Best regards,
Jeffrey Tan
