Hi,
I have observed that when user does not have admin previlages and if he
inserts a CD which installs something on 'AutoRun' (that install program
requires admin previleges) windows exploer pops up a dialog "Install
Program as other user" dialog box. That dialog box has 'username' &
'password' text boxes. If user enters admin a/c user id & password,
windows explorer validates that user and launches the installer.
I am looking for a way to implement similar thing. When user does not have
admin previleges I would like to launch "Install Progrm as other user"
dialogbox and deligate authentication to some API and get some kind of
token to proced further.
If anybody have an idea/API how to launch "Install Progrm as other user"
dialogbox, please let me know.
