You can work on dual-boot computer or boot into REPAIR mode (from your
Windows setup CD-ROM) in which case you don't need to change the default CSP.
You would still have two reboots though...
Alternatively, do most of your testing w/o setting your CSP as the default
provider; ie. load it by its name.
