Hello,
with our new software running on Windows 2003 Server (without SP1 Beta) we
have several boot problems. Our PDC Server are equipped with two network
cards( Intel or Broadcom) running in a team. We also apply most of the Pre
SP1 Patches during installation.
Sometimes the Server boots without problems, than it stays without problems.
But often the server starts with some services terminating unexpected.
e.g. the COM+, Removable Storage, System Event Notification, Windows Time
Service, Audio, Cryptographic, Logical Disk, Workstation, World Wide Web ...
services terminated.
A restart sometimes works sometimes not. The better way is to shutdown, wait
5 minutes and than restart.
It is no special hardware problem, because this appears on several servers.
Has someone seen such problems?
What could we do?
It looks like SP1 Beta solves these problems, but we are not allowed to
install a pre-release.
Dirk
