Hello,
I should write a new authentication protocol using a set of credentials
that contains username but doesn't contain the password.
If the the credentials are verified, i.e. the authentication succeeds, I
should receive a ticket from kerberos (this is similar to the
authentication using smart card and certificates).
I'm starting to develop a custom GINA and a custom authentication
package implementing my protocol but now I don't know how to get a
ticket from kerberos without passing a password.
What is the way to get a ticket without passing a password as is done by
authentication protocol using smart card?
Any help is really appreciated.
Kind Regards,
Ugo Chirico
