I used a vbscript to renew my smart card certifcate. After renewing the certificate, I can use the smart card to access web sites that require client-side certificates, but after logging out, I can no longer use the card to login. I made sure that synced all the domain controllers.

The following event is logged in the Application Log

Source: Smart Card Logon
Event ID: 5
Description: An error occurred while retrieving a digital certificate from the inserted smart card. Key does not exist.
