    What OS/SP are you using for each case?
    You mentioned NT4 with IE5.5 and Win2k with IE6.0 Is this correct?

    Which OS are you using for creating the PFX? What happens if you re-create
    the PFX with the same password (that is, what happens if you create the PFX
    for b) using the same password you had for a)? Can you import it?)

    What is the error message you're getting in each case?
