Hi Jesper,
My expertise lies in CryptoAPI/CAPICOM/Certificates so I don't know about
the Outlook message format. A different newsgroup may be more appropriate.
thanks
Carlos

| Hi Carlos,
Thanks for your answer. Really, I have 2 querstions:
1. From Outlook I can't get a eml-file, but I can get a msg file. As far as
I can see, eml files are in S/MIME form directly, whereas msg files have
some binary format (in which I do recognize some S/MIME embedded). With
CAPICOM there comes an S/MIME example program. I have tried it reading eml
files saved from Outlook Express and it works fine (to decrypt and verify
signatures). But I haven't had success reading msg files saved from
Outlook, so some kind of transformation is at least needed.
2. Is there a way to get the same S/MIME output from an Outlook mail item
as is possible saving an eml file from Outlook Express?
