rite now i have signed and verified signatures using software keys. The way i am doing is ,
1. open a cert store and select a cert to sign
2.depending on the certificate used to sign,i acquire the context(handle to the CSP) of that particular cert and sign it using the private key of that cert.

Now does the smart card also come with a cert so that i can make use of the same procedure mentioned above.
