Hello,
I have been working on CSP signing using CSPDK(Microsoft
Cryptographic Service Provider Development Kit) on Windows
2000 SP2.
However, I could not figure out some problems I faced, and
need someone's experience and any information available.
What I have done so far is as follows:
1. I downloaded CSPDK, and as instructed in README file, I
expanded appropriate ADVAPI32.DLL to C:\WINNT\system32
folder, and copied the cspsign.exe to the same folder.
2. I rebooted the system.
However, my computer failed to reboot, doing nothing. I
just followed the instruction in the README file.
Does anyone know possible mistake I might have made? or,
Isn't there any flaw in the README file?
I have another question regaring CSP siging. As
instructed in the README file, I signed DLL file using
cspsign.exe with 'c' option and 's' option, and generated
signature file wtih extension '.sig'. However, I tried
every steps instructed in fhe README file and in MSDN, I
could not succeed. The document I referenced is
on "http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?
url=/library/en-
us/security/security/test_signing_the_csp.asp". Isn' there
any one who tried this CSPDK and sucessfully achieved his
or her goal, please, let me share your experience. It
will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
