Re: Access Denied to IIS6 site on Virtual Server 2005

Hi,

The error message you are seeing below is *not* being returned by IIS. There is some proxy server or similar between your browser and the IIS server, and it is returning that information.

Configure your browser to bypass the proxy server for access to the IIS server that you installed. Then refresh the page and post the error message you are now seeing from IIS

Cheers

1. I have created Virtual Machine under Virtual Server R2 SP1
with Windows 2003 as part of workgroup and installed IIS 6.0
2. I could ping this machine by IP address, and I am able to
access shared folder by using IP address on this Virtual Machine
3. I have a problem to access IIS on Virtual Machine from my
computer (is part of domain)

My request from HOST browser "http:\XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX" give response as:

ERROR

While trying to retrieve the URL: http://XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX/index.htm

Any idea about how to fix that?
Thank you
