IIS 6.0, Problems with Digest Authentication

hi

we have a Web Server (Windows 2003) connecting to a SQL 2000 DB and the
IIS web site is setup for Integrated and Digest Authentication.

We have a Windows 2000 AD Domain running in Native mode, with two main
AD Sites. From the site that has both of the servers I am able to
login and add entries to the DB, but from the other site ( with the
same user ID ) I can login and read data from the DB but I am unable to
add.

When I do add I am presented with the a login box and no matter what I
put in I receive "HTTP Error 401.1 - Unauthorized: Access is denied due
to invalid credentials"

It looks like the AD Account token is being lost somewhere, any Ideas?
