The demand for a dedicated presentation on IIS debugging has been high for
years. The IIS Webcast Series is going to deliver with a special week long
presentation entitled - IIS Debugging Week. This is a great time for many
IIS administrators and developers because Microsoft has spent two years
architecting, designing, and implementing a touch all tool in the debugging
space - welcome to the debugging party called Debug Diagnostics 1.0.

Last week at TechEd 2005 in Orlando, FL, the developer of Debug Diagnostics
1.0 delivered a compelling and very well received presentation on how Debug
Diagnostics 1.0 might just be the future to debugging IIS (and other
products) crashes, hangs, and memory leaks. He didn't only back this up
with slides outlining critical points in each type, but he showed them in
action and how Debug Diagnostics 1.0 will save days, if not hours, solving
complex web application problems.

In this debugging week, the design team will participate and take your key
feedback on how they can make this tool even strongerl for you. It isn't a
tool designed just for this platform or that platform but is designed to
resolve key problems across all IIS platforms: 4, 5, 5.1, and 6.0. The
debugging world will begin to understand how DebugDiag can make there lives
easier and how extensibility is the key to this tool moving Microsoft in the
right direction with product support. It would be great to see all of you
there next week asking questions, learning about Debug Diagnostics, and more
importantly providing feedback on this tool that the IIS team feels is the
answer to many customer's "prayers."

Let's talk about customer feedback at TechEd 2005 -
"It was a shame that presenters ran out of time before showing final demo
on DiagDebg tool; however, i am looking forward to future releases,
webcasts, labs, etc."

   "Excellent Presentation!!!"

"Debug Diagonistics looks like a great tool, cannot wait to start using
it."

"Excellent presentation on what looks to be an exciting new tool that
will allow admins to debug IIS."

"I can't wait to use this product on my servers! I know this will save me
so much time troubleshooting production issues that this session made
tech-ed worth it for me."

This is only a snapshot of the feedback given by the 800+ in attendance at
this breakout session. Your opinion counts, make sure that you have
downloaded the tool, fired up your server, and are listening diligently on
Monday and not stopping until Friday and provided your opinion on how
Microsoft can make your life easier and your day more efficient!
