    Did a little web surfing and found an answer as to how to enable ports and
    turn firewall on and off in XP embedded *after* FBA (in other words, once
    received fully configured) --

    from a DOS cmd prompt:

    > netsh

    netsh> firewall

    netsh firewall> show state (lets you see what's enabled and what's not)

    netsh firewall> set portopening TCP 80 MyWebPort

    I tried it and it worked!
