I do not understand your line of reasoning. A redirect should not be
necessary, even now. Just access http://yourserver/CSK_VdirName and it
should be fine. No redirections.

I am currently using Community Starter Kit (CSK) which seems to like to install as a virtual directory in the web site that points to "C:\Program Files\ASP.NET Starter Kits\ASP.NET Community Starter Kit (VBSDK)\CommunityStarterKit" Is there a security problem if I simply point my home directory in IIS for the web site to that same address, thereby eliminating the need for a redirect? Thanks Ed
